Where they differ

Both systems cover employee records, documents, recruitment, performance and training. The difference is in depth, and in how many systems you end up needing. Pinya records presence, absence and a long/short week pattern, and exports attendance;5 for full attendance it points to Giriton,1, 2 travel expenses go through Cestak and whistleblowing through FaceUp.2 Each of those is a separate product with its own license and its own contract. With Speybl, attendance, shifts, travel expenses and whistleblowing are modules of the same system. Both hand payroll data over — Speybl connects to ABRA, Helios and other payroll systems that allow communication over an API, and elsewhere through imports and exports. The second difference is the shape of the price: API access is a paid add-⁠on module at Pinya,4 and part of the plan at Speybl.

What a connection to a payroll or accounting system can actually do always depends on that other system too — on its API and on what it lets in and out.     Pinya can record presence and absence and a long/short week pattern, and export the month to a payroll accountant;5 for full attendance it points to Giriton.1, 2 In Speybl, attendance is a module of its own — clock-⁠ins and clock-⁠outs, absence, entitlements, approvals and shift plans with a coverage view, all on the same data as employee records and documents. The difference shows up in daily use: when an overtime rule or a vacation entitlement changes, you deal with it in one place and nothing gets retyped anywhere.

  2. Work that is not an add-⁠on here

    Travel expenses with allowance calculation, benefits and bonuses, whistleblowing and shift planning are all modules inside the Speybl plan. At Pinya, travel expenses go through Cestak, whistleblowing through FaceUp, and as of September 24, 2026 we found no benefits module.2, 5 That means an employee has everything in one place and you are not running four setups and paying four invoices.

  3. The AI layer

    A review of the Pinya HR website on September 24, 2026 found no mention of any AI feature.5 Speybl AI is a layer of agents that prepare a new hire's start, watch the end of probation and generate a document under Czech or Slovak law — you approve the result rather than writing it.

  4. What is included and what costs extra

    Pinya publishes its prices and the base plan looks straightforward. API access, though, is a paid add-⁠on module there,4 while at Speybl it is part of the plan — as are the modules you order separately at Pinya. We compare no amounts here; the difference is in the structure, not the number. Before you compare price, add up everything you will need on top of the base plan.
